Introduction:

The Anchorage Project has been operating from the old Ringsend Mission Hall since 1996.

The Core Vision of The Anchorage Project is to serve the local Community, while at the same time helping various Communities in the Developing World.

The activities operating at the project are biased towards young people, families, the elderly, and children with additional needs. They include clubs, childcare facilities, animal units, garden and a greenhouse.

The project has several staff and is largely dependant upon a team of dedicated volunteers.

We grow flowers at our project in the heart of the inner city and we teach teenagers how to make up hanging baskets, tubs and containers which can then be sold locally to raise funds for projects in the developing world.

We breed pet birds and rabbits at our project and we teach teenagers how to care for the animals and sell them to the locally to raise funds for projects in the developing world.

Each year we choose a different charitable project in the developing world to support with our gift cheque.*
